These are a few pictures of David after his football game this one was taken after the last home game on Cedar's field. This was kinda fun it was also his first game playing varsity.
This is when Cedar played Juan Diego at the beginning of the state play-offs
David is #29 and his friend Kahi is #50. I thought this was a fun picture because
they were both only sophomores.

It's Fall
Well, it's been quite a while since we have added anything new to our blog. So lets get you all caught up on what's going on with us. Here is cute little Lance before he had his hair cut, his fo hawk was really long
This is Amanda on the first day of school, I think she is the most kind and beautiful 4th grader I've ever met.
I had a birthday in August and it was by far the strangest ever. Down on the corner of 400 south and 450 west is an empty lot, for the last few years they have tied goats there to eat the weeds. Well school had just gotten out and Aubree was walking down to pick up Amanda at South Elem. When Aubree called me in a panic because some girls had taken one of the goats and it was now on our front lawn... As I went outside 2 little girls were trying to get this goat to walk home with them, I said I knew where it should be and that I would take it back. They then insisted that they had found it and were taking it home because it didn't have a home, after much persuasion I took the goat by it's rope to take back to the vacant lot. The only problem was that I had just got off work and was still in my work clothes high heels and all not realizing how strong goats are I tried to take it back and was then in for the fight of my life. Just picture me in high heels attempting to pull this goat by a rope that was tied around it's neck, well he put up a great fight. I had cars stopping, kids asking if they could pet my goat and it pooping all over the place and some lady drove around the block 3 different times so she could take more pictures. In the end we got it tied up, I looked like I had been drug by a goat with only a few stickers in my toes because of course my shoes were open toed and spiked heels. So this is a picture of my new favorite friend the GOAT....
Craig and I also had the opportunity to attend his 25th class reunion, we had a great time. Not a really big turnout but had fun visiting with the people that were there. Pictured left to right back row is Mark Ashdown, Mark Esplin, Mike Smith, Eric Tait, Rick Brown, Craig Cardon, Shawn Hinton, Brantz Gentry, Byron Linford, Mark Drawe. Middle Cindy Ashdown, Donna Bulloch, Diane Esplin. Bottom Michelle Mason, Michelle Miller, Danette Matheson, Jill Bauer, Linda Prince, Dialea Shirley.
We also took a weekend and took David and his friends to the cabin where they spent the night then came home saturday afternoon notice no pictures. So the next weekend we took the girls and their friends and we have pictures, we also took Lance along with us what a fun time we
had . I'm so greatful that my girls have such great friends.
My dad's headstone was finally put into place we were very pleased with how it turned out.
I think this picture is funny because Craig reminds all of us that he hates the cat and the cat hates him, but every chance the cat gets he sleeps by him so me and the kids took a picture.
These are pictures of David waiting to get in his first Varsity football game, it was so much fun watching him play with the varsity.

Just fun.....
These are just some fun pictures from this summer....
David holding Lance, he turns into a big softy.
This is Amanda with her Cherry sign, this was a very lucrative summer for her. She made over $100.00 dollars selling cherries sitting in our front yard. She was so cute we all helped her pick them and she would wash, weigh and bag them....not bad for a 9 year old. The best part was watching her carefully counting out how much should go to tithing. Who says that children can't teach their parents...This picture just shows the excitement on her face, this was Aubree's first trip to do baptisms for the dead. She wasn't feeling well and was very upset that she wouldn't be able to go, because as she said "they only go twice a year and that means it will be 6 months before I can go" but in the end she was able to go. And loved every minute and can't wait to go again. I still am having a hard time that she is in Young Womens.....WOW
Last but not least David in his football jersey. We are all praying for a safe football season this year. He was trying to look all mean, tuff and thought his jersey made him look really big because it's sooo tight. But then again he has bulked up and is big....what happened to my cute, sweet little boy, he's not so little anymore.....Love ya, David

Lance........
These are the latest pictures taken of Lance, and he is still the cutest baby I've ever seen. I can say that because he is my grandson. He was about 5 weeks old when these were taken by Terrel Fox. We all think that he looks like a little man, he's a big boy weighing in around 12 pounds and 23 inches long.

Our trip to YELLOWSTONE.........
We have wanted to take a trip to Yellowstone for quite a while, so this was our year. Craig and I along with my mom and David, Aubree and Amanda loaded up in our new van and we were off.
We left Cedar early the 19th of July and drove all the way to Wilson where we stayed, that was a long drive. My mom wanted to go up and around Bear Lake so we did, then thru Idaho and into Wyoming it took us about 10hrs to get there with all of our pit stops. The first few pictures are somewhere in Idaho and then Wyoming, we had a lot of fun but somehow we never had one picture taken with all of us together. I promise we all went and had a great time, we all got along. So you know what that means....there could be more trips in our future Yeah!!!!!
And so the fun begins......
I couldn't pass this up, not sure what the m stands for, but I think it's for MOM.....

Summer Fun!!!!!!!!
We have decided that this summer we are going to take our children on some field trips to some fun places that are close to Cedar City. Cedar really has some interesting sights and they are right under our nose and so we are going to enjoy them this summer. On our first outing we traveled up cedar canyon toward Navajo Lake but turned and went to Cascade falls. The sign there stats that the water leaves Navajo through the lava rock at the east end and goes through a series of sink holes and comes out through this wall of rock. It is very spectacular the water is so clear and comes out the side of this mountain, it also stated that the water from Cascade Falls ends up in Lake Powell (very interesting). The view was amazing you can see forever....
